Founded by David Zuckerman, CFP®, CIMA®, Zuckerman Capital Management offers investment advisory and financial planning services to a wide variety of individuals, families, and institutions. David Zuckerman’s experience in the investment management industry dates back to the 1990s when he worked at Oppenheimer & Co. and Merrill Lynch while studying Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles. Upon receiving his degree from UCLA, David joined Royal Alliance Associates, an independent brokerage firm where he served as a financial advisor specializing in international markets. Prior to forming Zuckerman Capital Management, David served as Director at a leading independent firm in Southern California, a position that has brought him into ongoing, personal contact with leading analysts and fund managers throughout the country and the Pacific Rim. David has been interviewed by various journalists, and has been featured in leading finance publications.
David Zuckerman has been appointed to serve as CFP Board Ambassador for the Los Angeles area. As a CFP Board Ambsassador, David has volunteered to represent Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. with the local media, policymakers, and community organizations. Of the 62,000+ worldwide CFP® professionals, 27 CFP Board Ambassadors are selected to help educate the public on the importance of having a financial plan and working with a competent, ethical financial planner.
David is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, a CERTIFIED INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT ANALYSTSM, Director of Public Relations for the Los Angeles chapter of the Financial Planning Association, and a member of the Eagle Scout Association of Los Angeles.
